Dear most valued customer,
When you are purchasing for an event please realize what it is you are buying tickets for. I mean, usually when you are going to drop a minimum of 70 a ticket for a specific event which I will not name but can tell you it has to do with the Circus and the Sun, why are you not checking out what it's all about? Do not come up to the ticket office and complain to us that you did not realize what it was you were purchasing tickets for. I mean, when I go to the pharmacy perhaps to pick up some toothpaste, I never find myself suprised when I get home and reach for that newly purchased, pristine, yet untouched tube of toothpaste to find out that 'shit, this is monistat I was about to brush my teeth with?' No people, because it takes maybe 5 minutes of your time to PAY ATTENTION to what it is you are buying. And surely, at one point between purchasing your ticket, spending the month or so holding the ticket in your wallet, making the time to come all the way to the arena, to pass all the signs and promotional swag on your way to the entrance you might have realized what the event actually is. But no, instead we, in the ticket community, need to be further burdened and asked, no demanded, for a refund (unfortunately we have yet to set up the stupid refund function on the computers), and of course it always seems to be the ones who like to yell and scream bloody murder- even though it is their OWN DAMN fault.
And finally, when you are coming to pick up tickets please bring some photo ID (this would be ID with YOUR photo on it, I know not a hard concept for most but...). Nevermind that when you purchase your tickets with a certain Master of Tickets (TM) you are required to present your ID and Credit Card. But generally we can not release tickets to one who has no photo ID, and as much as I'd like to take your word on who you are, the fact is that I've never met you. I don't know who you are and probably I'll never see you again, and if I do, trust me I won't remember you. Believe it or not it is for your own protection.
This of course is only a small portion of our many customers who we so lovingly serve every day and I thank you for your continued loyalty and putting up with the lines that always seem neverending., for without you, where would we be?
